The Situation

Nick is a 45-year-old man who lives and works in Indiana.   At age 19, he was diagnosed with the rare kidney disease glomerulonephritis, which led to three years of dialysis. He then received a kidney transplant at age 23.   Nick's new kidney served him well, until it didn't.  With a current kidney function of 10-15%, he is in dire need of a living donor kidney.
